Self-screening and EAD systems

In addition, establishments open at night and authorized to serve alcohol between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. are now required to provide NF-certified breathalyzers. Since July 1, 2015, the blood alcohol limit is of 0.2g/L blood for young drivers on probation and less than 0.5g/L blood for the experienced.
How chemical breathalyzers work
THE chemical breathalyzers work thanks to reagents that react to the presence of alcohol in the exhaled air. Simply blow into the balloon or directly into the tube after checking its expiry date, 2 years from the date of production. Once the balloon is inflated or until the white pellet is visible, the user must break the sealed ends of the analysis tube, or exert pressure on these same ends depending on the kits used.

Reminder
Please note that...
Before using a breathalyzer disposable , you should know that consuming 1 additional glass of alcohol causes an increase in blood alcohol level of approximately 0.25 g/L. However, the assimilation of alcohol molecules by the body can be slow or fast depending on physical parameters. The increase in blood alcohol level continues until approximately 60 minutes after consuming the last glass.
Most of the time, the effects of alcohol molecules have not really dissipated despite popular belief: having a breathalyzer will prevent irreparable damage.
Why this regulation?
The regulations for the alcohol level accepted was voluntarily arranged for young drivers to follow up on the measure of July 1, 2015: they are the leading cause of death and disability for 18-25 year olds and in ¼ of collisions the alcohol level is excessive.
