Solar6 Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Solar 6 is a wine from organic farming certified "AB" and "Bee Friendly", a label that aims to protect bees and pollinators. In an alarming context of increasing disappearance of pollinators, beekeepers have initiated the creation of the European label "Bee Friendly" in order to identify agricultural practices that respect the preservation of bees. The name of this range of wines, round and fruity, Solar 6, pays homage to the sunny terroirs of the South of France where these wines are produced. It also evokes the first reconnaissance flight of bees, the "firework sun", and the symbolic number of these pollinators, 6.

Located in the north of Gard, at the foot of the Cévennes, the Cévennes hills and the Ceize Valley, the vineyard plots, facing south and naturally clay-limestone, allow the production of beautiful grapes in order to provide the typical characteristics of Chardonnay. After sorting the harvest, the grapes are placed in a temperature-controlled stainless steel vat before being aged on lees fine.

The dress is bright, straw yellow in color, with luminous reflections. On the nose, the wine has fine aromas of citrus fruits, notably lemon and grapefruit, and yellow fruits. The palate is fine, pure and balanced.

To be enjoyed with scallops, fish in sauce, poultry or risottos.
